Hunter Master Rules
| Rule | Effect | Cal trigger |
|---|---|---|
| RAWR TIME | At the start of Round 1, adventurers gain 1 Fury. After Hunter’s combat, all adventurers gain Fury equal to 30% of his remaining Fury, with a minimum of 1. | When an adventurer loses Fury stacks, Hunter draws 3 Cal from that adventurer. |
| MORSEL CHASE | When Hunter finishes moving, enemies in orthogonal directions receive Prey and 2 Slow. | When an adventurer hits an enemy affected by Prey, Hunter draws 4 Cal from that adventurer. |
| BONFIRE BONANZA | If Hunter ends his turn without attacking, he creates Bonfires on tiles two spaces away, lasting two phases. | Creation draws 1 Cal from each adventurer. An adventurer ending their turn next to a Bonfire supplies another 1 Cal. |
Keep turn, phase and round distinct when reading triggers. RAWR TIME’s Cal trigger is phrased as losing Fury stacks; do not multiply its 3 Cal by every individual stack.
Rage Buddies and Ravenous
Both skill cards allow all characters to equip them.
| Skill | Effect |
|---|---|
| Rage Buddies | At the start of the user’s phase, gain 1 Fury for each adjacent ally. While adjacent to an ally, each Fury stack adds another +1 damage in combat. |
| Ravenous | At the start of the user’s phase, adjacent enemies receive Prey. Before combat against an enemy affected by Prey, gain 5 Fury. |
Rage Buddies makes ally adjacency relevant to Fury. Ravenous connects adjacent enemies, Prey and Fury generation. Read these conditions alongside the Master Rule you choose.
Poison Master Rules
| Rule | Effect and Cal trigger |
|---|---|
| Peer Reviewed Overdose | Adventurers deal 30% less combat damage. On a hit, inflict 6 Poison; if the target then has at least 10 Poison, also inflict Coagulation. At an adventurer’s turn end, Poison draws 6 Cal if their attack inflicted Coagulation or hit an enemy already affected by it. |
| Hive Queen | Each phase, the first two adventurers to finish moving summon a Bombee on a random tile adjacent to Poison. When a Bombee explodes, Poison draws 3 Cal from its summoner. |
| Monetized Enlightenment | The first time an adventurer finishes moving within three tiles of Poison, they gain 4 Awakening. At that adventurer’s phase end, if they are not adjacent to Poison, she draws 5 Cal and steals 1 Awakening. |
Read the position and timing
For Hunter, check whether your skills interact with Fury, Prey or Bonfires. For Poison, check the damage reduction, movement triggers and end-of-phase positioning before committing to a rule.
Use the rule text on your own contract screen when making the selection. See the Poison progression guide if she is not yet in your party setup.
